Update The Look Of Your Home
With Exterior Painting
A fresh exterior protects your home's timber, render, and trims from Queensland's sun and storms, and it's one of the highest-return upgrades you can make before selling or renting out a property. Buyers and tenants judge a home in the first few seconds, and a well-maintained exterior signals that the rest of the property has been looked after too.
With Coverage By Design's professional team of exterior house painters on the Gold Coast, you can revitalise your property the way you want.
Experts In Exterior Painting
Since 2019, our team has built a reputation for delivering quality exterior finishes across the Gold Coast, Northern NSW, and surrounds. With more than 1,000 homes and roofs completed, we have the experience to know what works — from exterior preparation through to choosing the right paints and products for your specific surface and environment.
Need to rejuvenate your property beyond the outside? We also offer interior house painting, roof painting, and commercial painting solutions for both the inside and out. At Coverage By Design, we have you covered.

We always work to the time and budget promised, so you know exactly what you're getting with our team.
Our Exterior House Painting Process
A quality result starts well before the first coat of paint. Here is what you can expect when you work with our team.
Surface Inspection: We begin with a thorough inspection of your home's exterior, checking for peeling paint, cracks, mould, and any areas that need attention before we start.
Preparation: We high-pressure wash the entire exterior to remove dirt, grime, and loose paint. Any cracks, holes, or damaged render are filled and sanded back to give you a smooth, even surface. This is the step that separates a paint job that lasts from on that does not.
Priming: Where needed, we apply a quality primer to bare surfaces, and problem areas to ensure proper adhesion and a consistent finish across the whole exterior.
Painting: We apply a minimum of two coats of premium exterior paint using the right combination of brush, roller, and spray techniques, depending on the surface. We work cleanly and efficiently, protecting windows, doors, plants, and paving as we go.
Final Walkthrough: Before we leave, we do a full walkthrough with you to make sure you are happy with the result. We do not consider the job done until you do.
Exterior Surfaces We Work With
Our team has experience across all common exterior surface types found on the Gold Coast homes, including:
- Rendered and cement-sheet walls
- Weatherboard and timber
- Brick and besser block
- COLORBOND and Zincalume rooflines and fascia
- Fibro and Hardie plank
- Feature walls
Whatever your home is built from, we will recommend the right preparation method and paint product to get the best possible result.

Ready To Weather Any Storm
From summer sun and humidity to windy winters and the rainy season, here in Queensland our homes can be subject to some wild and ranging weather conditions. Salt air from the coast accelerates paint breakdown, and UV levels here are significantly higher than other parts of the country. Both of which need to be accounted for when choosing the right product and system for your home.
At Coverage By Design, we only use exterior paints rated for these conditions, so the finish looks good and holds up year after year.
